There is a story told of Rebbe Zusyah who woke from a dream in a very disturbed state of mind. In his dream he saw he was soon to die and would be called before the Heavenly Court to account for his actions. When his students saw him they could see he was very, very troubled. So they asked him question after question trying to draw out of their holy teacher what was wrong. He told them ar last that he had dreamed of the Heavenly Court of Judgement and of the question they would ask and he could not answer. . The students were amazed because he was a kind, generous person cared for the sick, lifted the fallen, and gave to the needy.
He told them "They will ask me a question as I stand before the Heavenly Court and I will not be able to answer.Will they askwhy I was not enough like Abraham? No! Will they will ask why I was not more like Isaac? No! Nor will they ask me why I was not like Jacob who wrestled with God and was given the name Israel. No! No! No! They will ask me a question I won't know how to answer. 'Why', the will ask,' why were was not more like Zusya?"
What you see is what you've allowed yourself to become. Why doesn't it look more like you?
